Dr Lakis Palazis MD, EDIC, M.P. Adm, is the Deputy Director of the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at the Nicosia General Hospital. He has a specialty in Pathology and Intensive Care Medicine. He has been practicing in the latter since 1999. During his term of office he had the opportunity to participate in the organization and operation of the ICU both in the Nicosia and Limassol General Hospitals. He is very active in the education and quality improvement processes. He is also the Clinical Coordinator of the subject of Intensive Care Medicine for the students of medicine (P & F year) at the University of Nicosia. He has presented his work in several international and national conferences and has several related publications in the topics of his expertise.
