Dr. Theodoros Kyprianou (male) MD PhD EDIC (male) is Head of the Intensive Care Medicine Department at the Nicosia General Hospital and Assoc. Professor of Medicine with the St Georges Univ. of London MBBS-4 Medical Program / University of Nicosia Medical School (Module Lead F-year: Emergency Medicine / Critical Care / Anesthesia) and current Chair of the Technology Assessment & Health Informatics WG at the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. He has over 20 years of experience and pioneer work in Intensive Care Medicine and care of the critically ill patient as well as over 10 years of experience in eHealth systems, biosignals acquisition, storage and analysis, Clinical Information Systems etc. He has been involved in numerous projects in these areas funded by EU and other bodies (see below, coordinator in most), with a total funding managed more than 3 million Euros. He has published more than 30 journal publications, 90 conference papers and chapters in books (including co-authorship in a book published by Cambridge Scholars) reaching an h-score of 13 and he is serving as member of editorial board / reviewer in scientific journals.
