Dr. Ina Meiser (female) is group manager for Cryobiotechnology at Fraunhofer IBMT. She finished her bachelor´s degree in bioinformatics at the University of Saarland, Germany, in 2005. After her master´s degree in biotechnology at the University of Saarland in 2007, she finished her PhD at Fraunhofer IBMT in St. Ingbert, Germany, in 2014 working on ultra-fast freezing procedures for human stem cells and manipulation of stem cells using microfluidic devices. Since then she works on novel cryopreservation techniques e.g. for human induced pluripotent stem cells and their derivates with respect to automation potentials using robotic systems and biobanking in general. Ina Meiser has experience in contributing to national and international R&D projects as key scientist as well as project leader (e.g. IMI-funded project “EbiSC”, H2020 funded project “DropTech”, BMBF-funded project “Stabil-Ice”).
