Mr. Demetris Kaolis is a Medical Physicist of the Medical Physics Department at Nicosia General Hospital. He had his bachelor’s degree in physics from Aristotle University Thessaloniki and his Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from University of Surrey. He has been working with Nuclear Medicine (Diagnosis and Therapy) and Radiology and currently is also working with the Tenders Department of Ministry of Health. The last 6 years is also working for the development and administration of Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) of the Public Sector by developing a total of 11 VNA systems and releasing a total number of 12 Tenders for the acquisition of the required PACS Hardware and Software. Since January 2018 is serving as the president of CyMPA (Cyprus Medical Physics Association, ΣΦΙΚ).
