Dr. Eleni Papanicolaou-Zamba (female) is a Senior Neurologist and the Director of Clinic D (Neuromuscular, Neurogenetic diseases and clinical electromyography) and an Assistant Professor of Neurosciences at the Cyprus school of Molecular Medicine of the CING. Her research and experience focus on rare monogenic neurological diseases clinical phenotype, phenotype/genotype correlation, investigation of families and epidemiology. She is the Director of the clinical electromyography lab at CING covering the whole island in the field and emphasising in the neuromuscular diseases. She has currently moved in the field of chronic neuroepidemiology, working on complex diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Dementia. She teaches at the Cyprus school of molecular medicine, supervises Master’s and PhD candidates in neuroepidemiology and clinical neuroscience.
